Pelican Bay
Unique in all of Florida, Pelican Bay is the only premier beach community in the state with a 2 square mile mangrove forest and bays between it and the ocean. A nature preserve thus established in perpetuity. Residents access the beach through the preserve via a tram system which transports them to the communities two private beach resort facilities.
